Thankyou for all the lovely extras you provided. There is nothing needed that isn't already here. The views are amazing and we loved sitting on the patio in the evening with a glass of wine. Every night the mountain looked different. Big thanks for recommending walks suitable for our elderly pooch. Loved exploring the area. We will definately be back for more. Mrs Helen I.

Stunning cottage in a beautiful scenic setting :-) We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay venturing on many trips in Snowdonia including Harlech castle, Ffestiniog railway and Lake railway to name a few. After a long day exploring we could relax in the garden enjoying the evening sunshine with a glass of wine (or two). Thankyou for letting us share your perfect cottage. Mr Lee P.

Amazing, beautifully presented and comfortable cottage to explore a stunning area for walking. Quiet location, wonderful views. 'Beautiful cottage, just perfect in every way" (April 2021)
We had perfect weather for the whole week which made exploring this amazing area extra special. Thankyou Sarah for the information you gave us, it was a god send. We had a fab meal at the Grapes - Covid style in it's lovely garden & fish n chips (wow) from a local village (Penrhyndeudraeth). Favourite walk was the local slate trail walk to the Cynfal Waterfalls and even had a dip. Can't wait to come back! Mrs Vicki D

"Exceeded Expectations" (Aug 2020)
Absolutely beautiful, spotlessly clean and decorated cottage with framed prints of local landscapes in each room. Waking up to the fantastic views made me feel like we were in another world. Our first evening at the cottage we sat in the garden taking in the view of the Moelwyn Mountains and enjoyed drinking the wine that was left chilled in the fridge for us (Thankyou Sarah). The neighbours and all the locals were friendly and knowledgeable of the area which was great. There are so many things to see and do locally, Portmeirion, Harlech Castle, shopping and lunch in Caernarfon. We highly recommend Moelwyn View Cottage and now that I have been to Snowdonia, I so much want to visit again. Such a lovely holiday that was so needed after a challenging few months. Mr Kurt C
"The Perfect Location" (July 2020)
The cottage was in top condition, very comfortable which was enhanced by the personal touches the owner left for the humans and dog. The mattress, duvet and bedding were of high quality which is important for a good night sleep. The owner was easy to reach and very helpful with tips for eating out and left some other great tips for area at the cottage. The cottage was perfectly located for days on the beach as well as days walking in the hills. We enjoyed it so much that we would return. Ms S E
"Facilities were spot on" (March 2020)
The most perfect cottage in every way, the facilities were spot on and every thing we could have asked for had been thought of. Wonderful location, log burner was a delight, enclosed dog friendly garden and the extra touches left by the owner were so very much appreciated, especially the dog treats! We didn’t want to leave and will most certainly stay again! Thank you. Miss Fiona D
"Cosy and well equipped" (January 2020)
This lovely cottage was perfect for our winter holiday. Sarah has put her stamp on the cottage and she has made a fantastic job of renovating this Quarryman's Cottage. Great location in a nice village with a great community pub just a few steps up the road and such friendly people. Good location for exploring along the Lleyn peninsula, Anglesey, Snowdonia and some lovely walks and places to explore locally. Always nice to return though to this fantastic cottage with a lovely cosy sitting room with log burner and a really well equipped kitchen. A comfy bed and lovely bathroom. Views over mountains from the kitchen and front of the house. We have returned home rested and relaxed and would be happy to stay in Moelwyn View again. Mrs Margaret D
"Amazing views with lovely walks" (January 2020)
Lovely cottage in a good location for walking, outdoor activities. The wood burner gave it an especially cosy feel. Parking wasn’t an issue and we could park directly outside the cottage at all times. Sarah was a wonderful host making sure we had everything we need. the dogs were especially happy to find Jumbo-bones left for them on arrival. The views were also amazing and we found some lovely walks visiting waterfalls and scenic woodland without having to drive. Highly recommend Miss Kate P
"We will definately return to Moelwyn View" (October 2019)
Moelwyn view cottage was perfect for the 3 of us. It is cosy and comfortable and Sarah has thought of everything you might need. Sarah met us to show us around and hand over keys, a great personal touch. Parking is on the street and when available but there are plenty of alternative spaces very close by. The cottage is handy for Snowdonia, the beach and castles and only an hour to Anglesey. We had a great time and would definitely return to Moelwyn View. Mrs Hayley M
"Well placed for visiting the coast and mountains" (October 2019)
Absolutely beautiful cottage, with the best views ever! Very comfortable and has more than what you need to make your stay a happy one. Well placed for visiting the coast and the mountains. Sarah was a great host and made sure you felt welcome. Mrs Shelia B
"Ideal Location" (September 2019)
This was a lovely place, beautifully renovated and very comfortable. It had everything we needed to make it a very pleasant stay, a great kitchen, comfortable chairs and beds and a good bathroom with bath and separate rainfall shower. It is ideally located for Snowdon and the other major mountains (Glyder Fach, Glyder Fawr, Carnedd Llewelyn etc), all less than 1 hours drive away, as are the costal towns of Conwy and Caernarfon. We found a couple of goods pubs with food, The Grapes at Maentwrog (about 6 mins away) and the Saracens Head at Beddgelert, (further but good for Snowdon). Both had excellent food at reasonable prices and large portions, with both we found it a good idea to book if trying to eat between 6 & 8 pm as they get very busy - a testament to the quality of food perhaps. Mr Mike S
